Dedicated to the memory of Camilla Stull (1994-2007) whose creative legacy was extraordinary and, had she lived, would have made the world more rich and beautiful.
In Memory of Camilla Stull
(October 26, 1994 - April 16, 2007)

This website is a repository for many of my creative endeavors and
interests and is dedicated to the memory of my daughter, Camilla Stull who died in April 16, 2007 after a 3 1⁄2 year battle with leukemia. Her fierce and proud fighting spirit despite constant pain and nausea from chemo treatments and two bone marrow transplants, one from her brother John, the second from her mother, Rema, was remarkable to anyone who came in contact with her both in our community in McKinleyville, California and at St. Jude Hospital, in Memphis, TN. And her creative output in poetry, short stories, song lyrics and art was extraordinary considering that much of it was done while she was ill.

Camilla was befriended by her movie idol, actress Drew Barrymore after Camilla was given two weeks to live. Drew Barrymore introduced her to the creator of the television animation FAMILY GUY, Seth McFarlane. Though terribly ill Camilla, her mother and her school-teacher, Judy Johnston flew to LA, signed a small recording contract and taped a short part in the show which aired April 29, 2007, entitled Boys Do Cry. Camilla did not live to see the show but Seth sent her the rough copy of her part in late March so that she was able to see it.

I always felt from the time Camilla was born that I had never met anyone quite like her. And, of course, every parent does and should feel that way. I feel the way about my fearless son, John, age 16, whom I continue to admire and be inspired by.

But, please read about my remarkable daughter in the links on this page to draw inspiration. I do and will continue to draw courage from her example for every second that I am alive. And of course, she like so many other kids, cancer patient or not, simply wished to be a "normal" kid.

If any of my performances on this website from live shows are appealing or of interest you, feel free to download them. If you would like to make a donation of any amount, even one dollar, you can do so at the following address: you will get a confirmation from our local bank. All donations will go to a memorial fund in Camilla’s name to create a local garden in McKinleyville. And by all means, contact me directly at my e-mail at ras2@humboldt.edu or call me at my office at Humboldt State University, Arcata, California at 707-826-5944.

Sincerely,

Richard Arlin (Dick) Stull
